Family Pathways School Back Pack Program

The former senior vice president of sales at Billtrust, Paul Wakolbinger now serves Kyriba as its sales director. In this role, he sells SaaS (Software as a Service) treasury management solutions to companies in the Fortune 2000 marketplace. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Paul Wakolbinger donates to and volunteers with Family Pathways food shelter.

According to Family Pathways, 20 percent of children in the United States go hungry. To counter this, the organization has positioned itself as the largest food distributor in East Central Minnesota, providing support to those most in need.

Among its numerous food initiatives is the School Back Pack Program, which provides underserved children with bags of food that contain snacks, fruits, vegetables, a range of breakfast items, and a full lunch. Unlike many other school food initiatives, the program supports children during the weekends, when they cannot benefit from free school lunch programs. In addition to feeding children, the program aims to improve school attendance and give children increased senses of self-worth.
